Samsung Galaxy S23 FE launch is around the corner? Not before Q4 2023.

Rumors regarding the launch of the Galaxy S23 FE have been creating confusion recently. It was supposed to arrive in Q4 2023, but numerous rumors are suggesting that it’s already around the corner.

The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to feature last year’s in-house Exynos 2200. The rest of the specifications reportedly include 6/8GB of RAM, and 128/256GB of storage. The display is a 6.4″ 1080p Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel. It’s reported to have a 4500 mAh battery and a 25W charging. Actually, there’s a reason for Samsung to continue making Exynos chips despite their inferior performance.

Rumors about the imminent launch of the S23 FE have started coming out quite recently, and there are sources that suggest the S23 FE’s arrival even before the Z Flip5 and Fold5, which are expected to be available in August this year. The S23 FE might not even achieve high sales figures in current market situation, considering the declining sales of the S23 lineup, especially regarding the Exynos chipset worldwide.

S23 FE’s firmware testing has just started

The firmware testing for the foldables has been in progress since the end of last year, and they won’t be available until August of this year. Therefore, it is highly unlikely for the same brand to complete everything for their fan edition within two months.

While it is technically possible that Samsung has been working on it behind the scenes for quite a while and it has only been revealed recently, the company’s track record does not support this idea, especially considering they skipped the last year’s S22FE entirely.

However, since the firmware testing has started, we hope to see it come out eventually. The S23 FE may be launched later this year or even scheduled for early 2024. However, there’s a close competitor from Samsung to the S23 FE which also comes at a lower price.

Additionally, we understand that for some people, performance is important, and neither the S23 FE with last year’s Exynos 2200 nor the midrange Exynos 1380 running on the A54 delivers sustained performance. Therefore, we have explored the available options that meet these needs, and here are the top 5 replacements for the S23 FE.
