iQOO just launched the Z10 Turbo Pro in China, and thought it was a good idea to bring it globally. But this video’s about the Neo 10… right? People are still considering the Neo 9 Pro that launched back in February 2024, and its successor is finally coming to India — after the Z10 Turbo Pro dropped in China — with the same specs. Well, the news is, it’s going to be a ‘tweaked’ version of the Turbo Pro.

Okay, enough! Here’s another point of view — is it a value-for-money, capable phone? Yes! Does it have the MEMC chip and frame interpolation feature that the Neo 9 Pro had? Also yes! The battery? 7000 mAh! The Neo 9 Pro had 5000.
How much will it cost? Probably between the Neo10R and the Neo9 Pro. iQOO is calling it a “segment’s first 144fps gaming smartphone.”

The Z10 Turbo Pro (I mean Neo 10 for us) uses the new 8s Gen 4 chip. This phone is more like an upgrade over the 8s Gen 3-powered Neo 10R. The Chinese Neo10 runs on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, but if the benchmark scores are to be believed, this one will be on par with the ‘original Neo10’ in terms of performance. So yes, this is an upgrade over the Neo9 Pro in both performance and battery life. And the design, well, it’s your personal preference. To me, it looks a bit… less expensive.
Now the cameras: if it’s a “tweaked” version of that Z series phone, we’ll get a basic 50+8 setup, with a 1/1.95″ main sensor — definitely a downgrade from the Neo9 Pro.
But this one not only packs a 2000mAh extra capacity, but also has bypass charging so you can continue your ultra long gaming sessions while preserving the capacity for when you need it.
So, this Indian Neo 10 isn’t actually a downgrade — the China-exclusive Z10 Turbo Pro is good enough to compete with the Chinese Neo10, and can be considered an overall upgrade over the Neo9 Pro we have. You should definitly wait for May 26th if you’re considering a new phone.
